I had made this bag previously a few years back and I followed the video to the bone. However I was not pleased with the size of it. I decided to make this again because I really enjoyed the motions in making the checkered pattern.
For this project I wanted to downsize it so its cuter! and more of a handbag rather than a tote. My previous bag had started to sag quite a bit despite the lining I added due to the heavier things I carry in it (since its of a bigger size).
Anyway I also love giving away my makes because I have too many crochet bags in my closet already, and its a really efficient way of using up yarn that I have in my stash!

Spent some time on lining to help extend the baggie’s lifeline and also this is my first time attaching the magnetic clasps!
